Dear EDB Society Members,

As we step into a new year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the exciting journey we've had in 2024 with many interesting, thought-provoking, and fun-filled events, all of which have helped to bring us together, strengthen our networks and friendships and stay connected to EDB. For this, I must applaud my hard-working Exco members and the EDB Society secretariat team for their individual and collective efforts to think through and execute the many events and activities for our members. I am sure I speak for all of you when I say we owe them all a big thank you!

The team has already started work for the first half of 2025. We will kick off the year with our social networking event at Café Melba on 17 January (for those of you who have not signed up yet for the event, please do so now!). This will be followed by a career development talk in February. Next up will be our Annual General Meeting in March. In April or May, we will have the first in our Energy Transition talk series, in partnership with the Temasek Alumni Network.

So, we can all look forward to another exciting year ahead in 2025. I am grateful to all our members for your unwavering support and dedication to the EDB Society, and I hope to see as many of you as possible at these events with your active participation.

In 2025, let’s continue to embrace new beginnings and opportunities and stay connected.
